One of our main suppliers are Scriven & Thornton Butchers, who supply our meat.

Scriven & Thornton Butchers own and operate their own farms, Billingsley Park Farm and Woodhill Farm both in Shropshire from where our meat is sourced. The company was nominated local food heroes 2006.

Bristol Fruit Market celebrated their  50th anniversary in 2007 and were awarded ‘Wholesaler of the Year’ and ‘Overall Produce Trader of the Year’ in 2005.  Bristol Fruit Market offers full product traceability and goes to great efforts to ensure that their products reach us in the best possible condition and with the shortest possible lead time from field to our depot.

Janes Pantry of Gloucester, supply our fresh Bread, Muffins and Pastries. Established in 1971, they are a family run business that uses finest quality ingredients which are sourced wherever possible in the UK.

Edwards of Conwy is the brand name of The Traditional Welsh Sausage Co Ltd who supply our premium brand sausages.  They have won many awards including True Taste of Wales Ambassador Award, All Wales Sausage Champion, BPEX National UK Traditional Pork Champions to name a few. 

Example of product traceability:

  • PREMIUM Beefburgers made from prime steak sourced from Scriven & Thornton´s own farms.
  • Baps made from wheat flour from ADM Milling in Liverpool, other ingredients eg. Water, yeast, sugar, salt are all sourced from UK companies.
  • Milk from Lakeland Dairies, Co Cavan, Ireland.
  • Pasties are made by Scriven & Thornton using flour from Smiths Flour Mills in Worksop, Notts. Filling ingredients are all English.

All managers are qualified in Intermediate Health & Safety, Intermediate Food Hygiene, First Aid, Fire Safety and Risk Assessments. At larger events we may employ our own HSE advisor.

Following their comprehensive induction training, all of our employees are issued with a staff handbook which covers the company´s existing best practice rules as detailed in our Health & Safety policy and our Food Safety policy.
